John Cena Appeared Like He Was “Just Born” For Hilarious Skit At Oscars Gala

At this year’s Oscars in Los Angeles, John Cena appeared like he was “just Born” for a skit, which the crowd loved.

The funny skit, which Cena did with host Jimmy Kimmel, happened right before he was going to give the Best Costume Design award. The shows up for that award were Poor Things, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Napoleon, and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Kimmel asked the crowd, ““Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today? Wouldn’t that be crazy?” The comic was talking about a time when someone ran across the stage at the 1974 Oscars.

After Kimmel’s joke, Cena peered through the curtain and said, “I changed my mind. I don’t want to do the streaker bit. I just don’t feel right about it. It’s an elegant event, you know, you should feel shame right now for suggesting such a tasteless joke.”

The WWE star also said, “The male body is not a joke!”

In the end, Cena did make his way onto the stage to give the award to the winner, Poor Things. The envelope with the winning nomination seemed to be the only thing that kept him from showing too much skin.

A social media post soon after the skit showed that Cena was wearing skin-painted underwear behind the envelope.

“He’s actually wearing skin-painted underwear,” one X user wrote. “Great job by the makeup department.”

“That’s disappointing! I say go all in! Or all out!” another added. “He probably wanted to but was told they couldn’t.

“This guy is getting out of hand,” a third wrote.

There was no doubt that Cena’s “naked” showing at the 96th Academy Awards caused a lot of controversy. A lot of people online also had something to say about it.

The WWE superstar wasn’t up for an Oscar this year, but he did have a small part in the famous 2023 movie Barbie.

Interestingly, the 46-year-old actor recently said that he had been told not to be in the movie before it became a huge hit.
