Georgia angrily was saying, “You are a wh-”
Then Hans intervened to stop his mother calling names to his wife Barbara. “Mother! You will not speak to my wife like this. Apologize right now!”
Georgia and Manny, the in-laws came for the first time after Hans and Barbara had their first child. Ther recently returned from the hospital, and they asked for some private time for themselves to bond with their child.
A month later they invited people over to see their baby, and finally it was time for Manny and Georgia to visit their grandchild. They already was present at the hospital, and they didn’t caused any scene as Georgia was one hell of a mother-in-law.
After they arrived, Barbara offered Georgia to spend some time with her grandson Hans Jr., but as soon as she saw the baby, Georgia said, “I knew it. I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!”
“What did you know, Mom? What’s going on?” Hans asked as he was confused.
“That baby is not my grandson! Hans, listen to me. You’re not the father! Barbara is clearly cheating on you! Look at him! His nose is completely different, and his skin tone is not like our family!” Georgia started to accuse Barbara with cheating Hans.
“Excuse me?” Barbara responded as she was offended and shocked.
“Mother! That’s preposterous! You have to not right to make such an accusation. Barbara has never cheated on me, and I know that this baby is my son. 100%!” Hans protected his wife.
“Hans, listen to your mother. She has a certain intuition for these things,” Manny intervened, as Barbara was shooking her head.
“Dad! How can you say that? In our house? Right in front of my wife?” Hans was angry. He was expecting a magical moment with his parents, but it turned out to be a nightmare.
“There’s a simple solution here. You can get a DNA test, and we’ll see the truth,” Manny said.
“No!”
“YOU WILL GET THAT TEST IMMEDIATELY!” Georgia screamed.
“That’s it. Get out of my house. If you don’t want to meet your grandson, that’s fine with me,” Barbara said, as she took her son back to the nursery.
While she was in the nursing room, she heard yelling from the living room, and Hans sent his parents back home. After Hans Jr. went to sleep, they talked and agreed on not talking to then until their apology.
Sadly, the mother-in-law convinced other people that Barbara cheated on Hans, everyone was insulting Barbara and demanding a DNA test.
As Barbara couldn’t take it anymore, she agreed on taking the test. “Let’s do it. Let’s get the DNA test and shut them all up once and for all,” she said.
When the results arrived, and it was proved that Hans was the father. Then they invited their family to share the results with them.
“This can be tampered with. What did you do?” Georgia said after she saw the results.
“I didn’t do anything. Hans took the baby on his own to get tested. I was not there at all,” Barbara answered.
“Mom, there’s the test you wanted. I’m the father. Now, will you stop this, and just enjoy your first grandchild?” Hans pleaded.
“Fine,” she said, and didn’t even looked at her grandson. Then Manny started to talk.
“Wait a minute, Hans’s blood is B+? How come I never knew this?” He was surprised.
“I don’t know.” Hans said.
“Maybe, you forgot about it or saw a medical result that added that information,” Barbara said but Manny was looking at his wife.
“Georgia, why is our son B+?” he asked.
“What’s going on now? What does my blood type matter?” Hans was confused.
“Because both your mother and I are O+. Logically, you can’t be B+, but here,” he gave the results back to Hans, “it says you are. So, I’m asking your mother. Georgia, what does this mean?”
Then Barbara understand what was happening. “That’s why you accused me, right? You were projecting. You thought I was just as low as you,” she turned to Georgia.
As Georgia started to cry, and threw a tantrum, Manny left the house then Georgia followed him.
“Are you ok?” Barbara asked to Hans.
“I guess. Well, I don’t know how Dad and I will deal with this, but at least, we won’t have to worry about our questions regarding our son,” Hans responded.
“Still, it’s a lot to take in.”
“Yeah, but whatever. We’ll be fine, and you and our baby are all that matters now,” Hans smiled to his wife before he hugged to her.
