‘Career-wise and financially and personal life, I know where I wanna be at next year. You know what I’m saying? You gotta rid of dead weight, and when it comes to dead weight,’ the 31-year-old Grammy winner said Tuesday night on Instagram Live – according to TMZ.
‘I will say mentality, procrastination, laziness, and people because a lot of people are dead weight, too. And sometimes, you know, I feel as a Libra, when it comes to people, we always want to protect their feelings. We always want to protect their image. We just want to protect people. Like how would they feel or how would life [be without me] for them? F*** that.’
Cardi – who boasts 279.6M social media followers – concluded: ‘Next year is gonna be all about me.’
On Monday, the Balenciaga catwalker unfollowed the three-time Grammy nominee – turning 32 next week – but she still follows five fan accounts involving him.

‘I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings… I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST.’
And the former Migos rapper Instastoried a clip from Scarface wherein Al Pacino’s character screams in a hot tub: ‘Hey f*** you, man! Who put this thing together? Me that’s who. Who do I trust? Me.’
Cardi and Offset seemed happy as ever the last time they were publicly pictured together attending the release party for his second studio album Set It Off at LIV Nightclub in Miami on October 13.
The Jealousy rappers also packed on the PDA on October 11 while celebrating the half-Dominican, half-Trinidadian star’s 31st birthday at WeHo hotspot Delilah where he gifted her three Hermes bags worth nearly $500K.
When the hip-hop power couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on September 20th, Offset filled their foyer with hundreds of roses.
