A kind woman offered to help a shelter cat. Hours later, she found kittens in her house. It was the most rewarding thing.
Megyn was at the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter when she noticed a cat, Suzie, lying on her side with a big belly.
The cat’s previous family left her behind when they moved. A Good Samaritan found her wandering the streets heavily pregnant and brought her to the shelter for help.
The shelter environment isn’t ideal for raising kittens, so Megyn offered to foster the expectant mom. “When I noticed Suzie, she was showing the beginning signs of being in labor,” Megyn told Love Meow.
Shortly after arriving at her foster home, Suzie lay beside Megyn and showered her with purrs and affection. “She plopped herself right by me and immediately started making biscuits on my face. Then, she proceeded to groom my entire face.”
Suzie was over the moon to be out of the shelter and have a comfortable place for her kittens.
