The family of Aryiah Lynch have given an update on her condition after she was attacked by a customer

A McDonald’s worker was left with a fractured skull and required surgery after being viciously attacked by a customer.

25-year-old Johnny Ricks was arrested last Friday and faces multiple charges for attacking 15-year-old Aryiah Lynch on April 8 in a McDonald’s car park in St. Louis, Missouri.

Since the attack, videos of Ricks allegedly assaulting Aryiah during a brawl have begun circulating on social media, showing Ricks dragging her by her hair before stomping her on her head.

He also allegedly punched her in the face multiple times.

Aryiah’s family have set up a GoFundMe and given an update on her condition since the attack.

She suffered a fractured skull, a broken nose and damage to her frontal lobe.

According to her family, the brawl started when Ricks, with a group of unidentified adults, drove up to drive-thru window at the restaurant and began behaving obnoxiously

The group then allegedly came into the restaurant and began damaging McDonald’s property, spitting at employees and harassing employees.

A family member said on the GoFundMe page, ”In the video you can see the adult male grabbing and dragging Aryiah by her long braids, and stomping on her head.

“He then let her go, but returned to punch her numerous times in her face. She was admitted to one of the local hospitals in Saint Louis with a skull fracture and frontal lobe damage.

“Aryiah had to have surgery April 17, which was a success. She is fighting hard to stay upbeat and heal but this is only the beginning of a very uphill battle. She is currently on bed rest in hopes to return to work.”

Following her successful surgeries, Aryiah spoke to local media about the incident and said she wasn’t prepared for what happened.

“It was getting loud…and being obnoxious in the drive-thru, so we said, ‘if you want to get your order taken, step inside,” she said.

Ricks is currently being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on charges of felony assault and property damage in the second degree.

The owner of the McDonald’s location where the brawl happened, Jimmy Williams, also spoke to local media about the incident.

He said: “Ensuring the safety of both our employees and customers is paramount to me as a local business owner, and we have a strict workplace violence policy at my restaurants,”

“My team is fully cooperating with the St. Louis County police in their investigation.”
