Seventeen-year-old Andrew, used to getting what he wants, mistreats a flight attendant on his way home from boarding school. He insults her and refuses to apologize, drawing the attention of other passengers. To his shock, his father, Steven, who was on the same flight, witnesses the incident and demands Andrew apologize.
At home, Steven decides it’s time for Andrew to learn respect. He takes away Andrew’s luxuries and assigns him to work as a janitor in his cleaning company. At first, Andrew resists and treats others poorly, but after being disrespected by people who see him as just a janitor, he begins to understand how it feels to be mistreated.
One day, he spots the flight attendant and sincerely apologizes for his behavior, realizing that everyone deserves respect, no matter their job.
**Lesson:** Respect should be shown to all, regardless of their position, and sometimes life’s hardest lessons are learned through experience.
